Billy Packer is out after 27 years as the lead college basketball analyst for CBS, making way for Clark Kellogg.
Now if ESPN would only dump Dick Vitale.
IMO he is 10x worse than Packer!!!!

I must be in the minority but i liked packer. however, i can see why people do not like him. i personally cannot take joe morgan announcing baseball games. kellog is a good choice.

I always liked listening to Billy. He always had a grandfatherly charm and perspective on basketball. He could make a blow out game in the middle of December worth watching.
I thought he and Jim Nantz had good chemistry.
