Good job on the Bear fund Tobias. You have been buying cheap shares for about 10 years now. It is good to see that fund finally get some positive returns.

I don't know since the first of the year, but my wife has lost a ton since her 401k topped out 4th quarter last year. If it were only 1k, I'd do back flips. It is really depressing. I guess if you go with the two money gurus that I listen to; you shouldn't worry if you have the stomach for it. If you still have 10, 20 or even 30 years left to put in the 401k, you will be ok. Cram money in now, buy low, lowering your cost basis and you will reap the benefits later in life and then when you get closer to retirement, adjust the stocks and funds in your portfolio to safer return areas.

Sell BEARX now and you have a tremendous gain. You would be a fat cat indeed. 1.36% positive return is not great over a 10 year period, but if you get out on a 10% run, you would be served well.
