Re: Flooding
I read where there will be homes taking in water in Portsmouth by tomorrow. It's supposed to crest at about 1/2' above where low laying houses take water in the warning said. It also said it could be higher

Re: Flooding
An old man I worked for who lived in my house when the 37 flood hit said the water was still 8 feet from getting to the bottom of our foundation. I wont be worried for myself about getting flooded. Hope everyone else dont have a problem with it

Re: Flooding
I be knowing one thing, them lakes are going to be unusable for a month I bet. There will be debris floating everywhere up to and including full sized trees. I don't think I'll be putting KantuckyII's boat on one anytime soon!

Re: Flooding
I gotta say, a ding in a dead tree floating down the water wouldn't bother me nearly as bad as the ding that would be on my boat afterwards. I actually did hit a full sized tree last year after dark in early June. I wasn't going very fast and seen it right before I struck it and slowed down but you didn't have to hit that hard to have not scared the dogg out of you! I was afraid to look when I got back to the ramp under my boat but..didn't do anything but..that boat was aluminum, unlike my current boat
Re: Flooding
Anyone know if 93 is covered with water between Jackson n Ironton? not on traffic site but it was up to road this morning.

Re: Flooding
Probably the long way. 52 to Portsmouth, 23 North to 32, 32 to Jackson, then on to Athens.tk421 wrote:Wonder if the Tigers will be able to get to the Convo on Saturday.
Re: Flooding
I heard KYII was going to shuttle the coaches and players by Boat. Should be able to take the right to the convo doors.

Re: Flooding
The flood waters have released this nemesis The new bridge is down already and it appears the old Portsmouth bridge is getting ready to be tumbled as well..then again, 'it's just Portsmouth'
