Yep,Burg has about 3 to 4 of those kids, that possibly have reached their limit as far as growing.
Which ones you talking about? QB and Arthur’s ? Arthur’s they said earlier in a post grew 6-7 inches

Just look at the parents
Big parents tend to lead to big kids
If a kid in jr high is already as big as his dad there probably isn’t going to be much more growth

Why would you run up a score like that in middle school?

Jackson 7th 36- Logan 7th 14
Jackson 8th was beating Logan 8th 28-0 when I Left in the 4th. The 8th game would have been a good game if not for number 15. Man that is a big 8th grader! It was a man against boys. He would impose his will when he took off running. Wheelersburg must have a heck of a team to stop him.

Read the other posts pal. Your Wheelersburg brother basically claimed the only reason the Jackson quarterback was good is because he was 14 and fully mature. Which may or may not be true.

This kid is 14 and has been fully mature for a couple years, hence his advantage against immature kids on the basketball court and football field.

I was there and everybody played and running clock! Ran up middle 95 % of the time. I seen burg put 6 different runningbacks in.

That’s not what I said. I never said the only reason. I said he’s going to be better because he’s probably hit puberty and those types of kids tend to be stronger and faster than kids that haven’t, which is a true statement. The corner on Jackson’s 8th looked like he was in 6th grade. One play he got beat by one of those burg kids who’s that way. Do you think the corner is going to look like that in high school? No. I’m going to assume he will go through his growth spurt and catch up. Being great in junior high doesn’t mean squat. I don’t care what team they play for. My 8th grade year we got beat by northwest. They had a man running the ball. No one could tackle him. We never lost to them in high school and probably averaged beating them by 42 points.

Keeping the natives happy is part too. From what I was told one of the move ins parents showed their butt this week to the coaches. Same one that was screaming like an idiot at the basketball championship this winter. Keeping all these players happy will be a big problem going forward.
