I am soooo bored. I need a round ball fix, and none to be had. Work is killing my schedule for watching the kids, now I'm off for 2 weeks and no games. YUK!

South Webster won both 7th & 8th grade boys games. Clay played hard but it was never a game for the 8th grade team.

Re: The Clay Panthers Boys-Girls
way to support your team you have to give them some credit . keep working boys !!!
Re: The Clay Panthers Boys-Girls
I disagree with rebel, I think the 8th grade boys have been much better than ever. They are short on talent, but seem to work their butts off for coach Compton. I hope they are able to pick up another win before the tournament. Goooooooo Panthers!

Re: The Clay Panthers Boys-Girls
All I have to say about Monday night's games is, WOW! After a week off (I assume no practice) the 7th grade team looked sharp, and very hungry for the win. Smothering defense, and relentless driving to the basket for what had to be a very satisfying win. Also the 8th grade came out looking determined and willing to give it their all, until the ugly foul trouble bug bit them again. Clay 2nd team flat outplayed the East 2nd team, and I for one was sure the boys were going to pull this one out. You have to give it to East, they didn't quit and pulled out a big win against an ever improving group of kids. Well, it's bed time for me, so Goooooo Panthers!

When is the game with New Boston? Is the game a combined game like the one at Rubyville?

The Tigers won the boys game by a bunch, I was told.
The Lady Panthers won the girls game.

Re: The Clay Panthers Boys-Girls
I thought the boys might make a game of it. I have the boys playing Monday at Eastern, and Thursday at Green, any other make up games before the tournament?

Re: The Clay Panthers Boys-Girls
I have the 8th grade at 1-11 and the 7th grade at 6-4 the 8th grade plays eastern next. clay lost first game 46-37
then the have green they lost the first game 40-32 i don't see them winning no more this year.[hope i'am wrong]
the 7th grade beat eastern 48-27 and green 41-30 they could be 8-4 good job.
maybe they could play the 7th grade up and the 8th grade down.

Clay's 7th grade won easily and Eastern's 8th grade won easily. Both games were by more than 20 points.
