ND 7th grade 11-10 or 10-9 over East in extra innings. Sammi Marting came up big with 2 outs , ND down one , Got a triple and stole home to tie it up. We can score , just need to shore up the D. Good game. Our young kids are starting to feel more comfortable at the plate. MD

ND 7th grade fell to ND 8th grade 7-4. ND 7th grade fell to Burg 12-0 . Dissapointing day, did'nt fill like the girls competed. I think Miranda P pysch's them out a bit. And she's very good. Even in the 7-4 game we just did'nt play with any enthusiasm.

I think ND 8th grade won over Burg 6-4 ?? not sure . MD

Am I right to assume that Ironton has won only 1 game? This is the same team that played deep into the 11-12 yr old tourney last year a portsmouth.

Itown HOSS ---Hi Buddy hope your and daughters season has been a good one.

I don't how many if any of the girls from last year's 12u all star's are playing or not--But I'll say this --the level of play in this jr high league is pretty good, I guess some of it is just age, making it harder for ironton to compete. they are also alittle thin at pitching and you know where that leads you in fastpitch. Maybe some of the good players could'nt come out ? But there are several good teams with good pitching in the league Dan

Hey M.D!

Ironton's varsity is 5-7,but very easily could have been 9-3.My daughter has pitched in only 3 games, shoulder problems,so shes been D.Hing and playing firstbase.
Hope alls well on your end.

It doesn't matter if they are from the same school or not its about the girls getting experience for high school. You aren't going to state why you gave up because it has already been put out. and the way you acted sunday at the end of the second game with the dirt exuse at the pitching rubber im sure was an embarresment to your fans.

Big Red The teams in the Jr. High League are all good teams. We have played good games all year. My issues are with fastpitch junkie not the Jr. High coaches.
Did not mean to make it sound like the teams are stacked. I just don't like somone talking about my team or my daughter. If they think I'm a bad coach they should tell me to my face. Not hide on this web site.

South Webster finished the season 5-6-1

no one has said anything about the team or a specific child but when you coach you are to be there for the entire team not just for your child. A good softball player can play any position just incase thing change from year to year because you never know when someone may move in or step up and become a better player at that position, then what do you do move to a weaker school so your kid can continue to play the same position.

To make sure the record is straight I think 4 of the 9 teams in the league have a player from another school district. Maybe 5. It sure is not just Valley. No one would have given a big hoot except one of the girls picked up happens to be a fine player. MD
