Ironton Junior High/Grade School address is 302 Delaware Street. You can park on either side of the school, and go in the side doors, do not go in the front of the building.

Ironton High School address is 1701 South 7th Street. You will need to go to the Heplar street side of the building, Auxiliary (New Gym), with overflow parking in the Ohio University back parking lot.

Thanks to everyone who entered and made this tournament a huge success. I enjoyed meeting all of the coaches and hope to see you and your teams down the road in many more tournaments.

Some really nice young talent in this tournament. The brewster kid from our western team really filled it up. The two big kids from ironton are nice players at this age. Waverly had a big kid who held his own and a guard who was quick as lightning. Didnt get to see coal grove but heard they had some nice talent including a really good big kid. There was a girl on porstmouths team that held her own and is going to be really good in the future. Sorry i dont know names, maybe someone else can fill in the blanks.

Arden girl from Ironton going to be a good one. Big girl who can handle the ball, post up, and shoot from outside. Coal Grove girls have a nice team. Dolen girl and Crum girl play well together and know how to use their height. Chesapeake had some nice talent as well. Fulton girl at the point distributes and can score, can see the floor and push the ball. Stapleton and Davis for Chesapeake also can play. Davis shoots the ball well and Stapleton is strong and athletic. Ironton girls play extremely well together and have a very good team. It's nice to have a talent like Arden who can take over a game. Southern Ohio well represented with future girls who can play the game. "Keep Working Girls"

Coal Grove is going to be a hard team to beat when those boys get older, they ran over almost everyone. Western has a couple of boys who will also do well as they get older. Brewster will really be a good leader for our Western boys. Didnt get to watch the 2nd day of action, but heard there was alot of tough games played.

I believe this tournament was very full of talent. For a small town tournament, the teams that got to play got their moneys worth and more. We hope to continue this tournament for years to come. Coal grove 6th grade has been a tough team to beat this year for everyone but Eliott county. Ironton had a lead late on coal grove a couple of weeks ago, but lost in the final minutes. Always a great game between two great teams. Lewis County sure impressed everyone by winning this tournament, they played like champions all throughout the tournament like they weren't going to let that trophy go. Coal Grove girls were tough as nails. They were a tough bunch that knew how to score and play good defense. Ironton girls sure had nothing to hang their heads about...they played a great tournament themselves. Thanks for everyone's kind words...we enjoyed having every one of you.
