Post by C-Bolt »

I have not seen anything on the Logan Tomahawks this year on the board,so I'm going to give an update from the Logan Daily last week,,They recently lost 2 games losing to Nelsonville 40-16 and Wellston 45-14 moving their record to 2-2 for the season so far. Will give future updates when I see them.....

THEY LOST SATURDAY 8 TO 16 TO TRIMBLE. IT WAS PARENTS NIGHT FOR THE 6TH GRADERS. THE KIDS REALLY PLAYED GOOD! A FEW COMING OFF THE FLU AMD INJURIES. STILL A FEW MORE WITH THE FLU BUG AND INJURIES. THEY BE TRAVELING TO ATHENS THIS SUNDAY. (I THINK)

INJURIES AND THE FLU KEEP TAKING THERE TOLL ON THE TOMAHAWKS. 1 running back still out with the flu/injury and another running back out with a bruised growth plate on his elbow

no, you right c-bolt. there is 3-4 and 5-6 teams. the 3-4 graders are done for the season and don't play until next weekend in the playoffs. they have strugled this year. only posted a 1-6 record(i think). some bright spots though. the 5-6 graders have 1 more season game this weekend at eastern meigs. they don't have a 3-4 grade team. that is why there season ends 1 week earlier. then in to the playoffs for both squads. which i think 5-6 grade play at logan chieftain stadium next weekend. the 3-4 play at nelsonville. and the super bowl for both grades are going to be at logan chieftain stadium.

THE TOMAHAWKS AVENAGED A LOSE TO ATHENS BY BEATING THEM 38 TO 12 IN THE PLAYOFFS SATURDAY. BUT RAN INTO A ROAD BLOCK ON SUNDAY WITH WELSTON AND THEY'RE LARGER THEN 6TH GRADE BOYS, LOSING 43 TO 28. (MOST ANYONE HAS SCORE ON THEM ALL YEAR) THE KIDS PLAYED THE HARDEST HITTING GAME THEY'VE PLAYED ALL YEAR, BETTER THEN MOST OF THE HIGH SCHOOL GAMES I'VE SEEN IN YEARS.
