I hope and would think not !!!!! I don't think he'll ever be welcomed back to the state by the majority of the people after he walked out the first time when he had it all at his fingertips and ran to what he thought was greener pastures at the time. Good luck to him, thanks but no thanks.

Hey Rod, karma has a way of screwing things up, doesn't it?

A great day to be a Mountaineer.

If I were him after what he's been through, I'd take a year or two off, maybe do the ESPN thing in the fall and let my reputation "age" before stepping back into any situation just because it's available.

Found this on BGN, a WVU site.

Scott Van Pelt hit the nail on the head...

About Rich Rod. SVP put it in the most succinct Layman's terms possible on his show yesterday. He spoke about how at WVU, while it was clearly not a job on the level of an Alabama or a Michigan in terms of tradition and perennial power, all he had to do to make it to the BCS year in and year out is beat the Big East's "flavor of the year". We were the program of the Big East. We were the team to beat when he was here and he was our guy. He was a West Virginia guy, he fit. He was one of us. And SVP's point was that everyone in football is always looking for the next spot to jump to that is better, but if the move doesn't represent a more solid decision for you, i.e somewhere you fit in, it doesn't make sense. Even if the next spot is a "better job" it may not be the better move.

God no. Frank's doing well enough here to not get kicked out by Rodriguez.

Let's see how it goes. I'm sure a lot of Michigan fans will be happy with a Michigan man. He definitely has performed well at all his stops along the way. Bottom line, can he poach players from No. Ohio? if not, he will fall short. Bo made a living out of Canton.

It would serve him best to take some time off. Its not like people are going to run after him for a big time job. If he wants a job soon, he will be the next Charlie Weis.

I'm sure an SEC team could give him a contract as an offensive coordinator, and the way they pay assistants, it probably won't me that much of a pay cut!
