Where Will Ohio State Go Bowling
Where Will Ohio State Go Bowling
Assuming OSU, Sparty, and Wisky win out, which bowl game will Ohio State wind up in?
My guess is the Capital One Bowl,no chance for three BCS invites out of the Big Ten. What are your thoughts and opinions?

If all three win out, buckeyes will go BCS, Sparty will be in Capital One.
In that senario, wisconsin goes Rose, due to the BCS standings three way tie break.
I look for Sparty to lose to PSU next week.
I also think Michigan has a good chance against Wisconsin, but that one is less likely.

Yea no way in hell MSU goes to a BCS bowl over The Buckeyes. Not only because they aren't worthy and not better team than the Buckeyes, bt lets face it, everyone knows in the college football world that Buckeye fans travel better than anyone in thhe country.

Purdue's coach should be fired and not allowed to shower after the game after blowing that lead.
Only an idiot rolls his right handed QB out to his left on 4th down with the game on the line.
That was the worst choke job I have seen thus far in the season.

Assuming wisconsin, Michigan state and Ohio state all win out, I'd say the Buckeyes will be playing in the sugar bowl against a sec team
Wisconsin in the rose bowl against tcu or Boise assuming Oregon wins out
Michigan st in the capital one bowl against LSU, Bama or South Carolina
If Auburn and LSU win out then the Buckeyes vs LSU in the sugar bowl
If SC upsets Auburn in the sec championship game then it will throw a big wrench into the whole bcs standing because that will allow Boise or TCU at a possible shot at the title and the other in a rose bowl plus gurantee SC a bcs game. If that scenario happens it could possibly hurts the buckeyes, however i still beleive it would be the sugar bowl against SC and Auburn would probably go to The Orange against Va Tech, but who knows the way the system is

The way Wisconsin looked against Michigan's passing they will not stand a chance against Boise State if they meet in the Rose Bowl

... only way that might happen is if they lose to Pitt and Rutgers. Win one and will play in at least Car Care in Charlotte. Remember the bowls like WVU ticket sales.

Re: Where Will Ohio State Go Bowling
I may be wrong, but it is my understanding that in the event of a three-way tie, once the Rose Bowl team is selected, the BCS standings no longer matter and if another Big Ten team is be selected for the BCS, it must be chosen by an individual bowl committee.
If OSU beats Michigan, they will either be selected by the Sugar Bowl or the Sugar Bowl will make a side deal with the Orange Bowl. Then, the Sugar Bowl would let OSU slide through so the Orange Bowl can select them.

That's correct, once the Rose bowl seed is decided, the BCS standings no longer matter in a three way tie.
For that matter, there is no second BCS spot for the big 10, just seems that way.
The Buckeyes will be in a BCS bowl once they win Saturday.
I would rather it be in the Sugar Bowl in LSU's backyard, against LSU again.

Re: Where Will Ohio State Go Bowling
in those 1st 4 games i'd have the SEc going 3-1 or 2-2 with one loss being LSU --They are just not impressive , Bama trounces MSU, So Car is better than penn st. Iowa Florida ?? toss up but better coaching and florida is Florida.
