Sadly many never watch any games or teams from WCC until the big dance. This afternoon St. Mary's (22-5, 11-1 conf) did what they have done better than anyone in the conference and that was win another game. This time they defeated Portland (13-15, 5-8 conf) by 17 in a game that was never really in doubt. Logan Johnson (Mountain View, CA) had a career high 34 points to go along with 6 boards and 6 assists. Alex Ducas (Geraldton, WA) added 18 points and 2 steals. For the Pilots, Kristian Sjolund (Kongsberg, Norway) had 12 points.
