Minnesota (7-8, 1-4 Big) outplayed Ohio State (10-6, 2-3 Conf) in every aspect of the game, and in doing so they picked up their first conference win and handed the Buckeyes their third straight loss, definitely the most embarrassing one of the three. Minnesota outshot the Buckeyes 50%-37.5%. Dawson Garcia (Savage, MN) looked like an NBA all-star as he dominated anyone the Buckeyes tried to put on him. He would score 28 and pull down 9 boards. For Ohio State, who not only had a terrible night on offense the defense made one forget how badly the football team plays defense. Brice Sensabaugh (Orlando, FL) struggled to hit just 6 of 18 shots to lead the team in scoring with 18 points and he pulled down 10 boards.
