Ball State (11-4, 2-0 MAC) stays hot running the winning streak to seven games with a seven-point win over a solid Akron Zips (9-6,1-1 MAC) last night in Muncie. Ball State connected on 39.7% of their shots while Akron hit 38.8%. Jarron Coleman (Indianapolis, IN) and Payton Sparks (Winchester, IN) led the way in the win with 15 points apiece. Sparks also had a team-high 8 boards. For Akron, Enrique Freeman (Cleveland, OH) had a double, double with 23 points and 14 boards.
