The Ivy League started this afternoon for both of these teams and when all was said and done it was the Lions (6-10, 1-0 conf) with the upset win over r the Bulldogs (10-4, 0-1 conf). The Lions let a 16-point lead fade away before settling on the two-point win after Yale had an unforced turnover with .07 left in the game. Roaring loudest for the Lions was Avery Brown (Beacon Falls, CT) with 16 points, 3 boards, and 3 assists. Helping out in the win with 15 points, 6 assists, and 5 boards was Geronimo Rubio De La Rosa (Santiago, Dominican Republic). For the Bulldogs, August Mahoney (Saratoga Springs, NY) led the way with 17 points but was just 5-13 from the field.
