Last night I was able to watch the Big West opener for both the Gauchos (10-2,1-0 Big West) and the Titans (6-7,0-1 Big West). For much of the game, this one was close. The Gauchos had just enough in the tank to post the eight point win. Ajay Mitchell (Liege, Belgium) paced the winners with 24 points and 3 assists. Josh Pierre-Louis (Plainfield, NJ) aided in the cause with 17 points and 3 steals. For the Titans, Jalen Harris (Los Angeles, CA) led the way with 19 points and 3 boards. The winners hit 45.8% of their shots while the Titans struggled hitting just 35.7%,
