Tom Allen brings his struggling Indiana Hoosier squad to Old Columbus Towne to face the Ohio State Buckeyes who appear to have lost some of their offensive mojo.

Indiana, have lost 6 straight, including a week 10 home drubbing at the hands of Penn State. The only notable win for the Hoosiers was a season opening win against Illinois, 23-20.

Indiana struggles on both sides of the line of scrimmage. They rank as the 112th best team on offense and only the 104th best team on defense. Thus they should present little opposition to the Buckeyes, a team they have not beaten since 1988.

As to the Buckeyes, their offense has fallen over the last three weeks from 2nd in the nation to 14th in terms of total offense per game. Since the bye, Ohio St now seems mortal when possessing the ball. Offensive line, running backs, and passing game all having one issue or another. Honestly it has been OSU's sixth ranked defense which has carried day since October 8th.

Thus question for this game becomes how will Ryan Day approach the game. A chance to work on offensive line play or just turning the team loose to rediscover their stride?

The game is scheduled for a noon broadcast on Fox

Saturday game day weather calling for low 40°s, winds 10-16 mph with light rain. Will the elements slow the Bucks down as they did last Saturday in Evanston?

I would imagine OSU has been looking hard at their running game scheme over the past week. With the conditions tomorrow, we may see some fruits of their labor. If we dont, things might not shape up nicely for them at the end of the season.

One dimensional teams dont fare well in big games against good defenses.

Ohio State got back on track with a 56-14 win over Indiana. The Buckeye running game rebounded with 340 rushing yards to go with 322 passing yards in the rout.

The game will be remembered for 5th year WR Kamryn Babb recording his first career catch and touchdown for the Buckeyes. Babb has fought through numerous injuries to become an inspirational leader for OSU as evidenced by being named a team captain .

The only shadow on the game was a first half injury to Miyan Williams leaving the Bucks thin for running back depth.

CJ Stroud was 17 of 28 for 297 passing yards and 5 tds.
Miyan Williams added 147 rushing yards on 15 carries before his injury. True frosh Dallan Hayden played well as a back up with 102 yards on 19 trys. Xavier Johnson carried the ball once for a spectacular 71 yd td.

The Buckeye defense was solid, limiting the Hoosiers to 269 total yards on the day plus recording a blocked punt.

The Buckeyes finally played as they should against an inferior opponent.
