Through out the game Marshall was able to hold their own if not outright win the line of scrimmage today. Throw in 3 Notre Dame turnovers and you have the recipe for an upset.

As to transfers, Mel Tucker at Michigan State showed how use of the transfer portal can quickly elevate a program over traditional recruiting. Huff at Marshall seems to have followed the blueprint.

Hopefully Marshall's win will create momentum for the Herd as they start Sun Belt play. It is going to be a challenge.

Notre Dame again shows they are overrated. Ohio Stae exposed their offense and Marshall added to that.

Perfect storm. ND left their emotions in Columbus. Marshall has been looking to this game all summer.

I said before the O-State game that N-D was probably overrated! The honeymoon is over for Marcus, I just hope he can get it turned around because they won't give him too much time.
