Mark Snyder interviewed today for the open LB Coach position for Michigan today.

When will it end?

Mark was a good d coordinator, and a good defensive coach under Dantonio.

If you can't beat them, join them

I heard it is pretty much a done deal for Skip Holtz to take over at USF.

Would Snyder then go to East Carolina since he was down there for Bowl preparations or follow Holtz to USF.

Snyder is a better assistant than a head coach.

My cat, boots, would be a good hire at UM, the way that defense has played.

LB coach at UM, would be an upgrade over Head coach at Marshall though.

Seriously? The guy coached LBs at OSU in 01, 02, and 03. He then was the D-Coordinator in 2004, and was offered the LSU DC spot by Les Miles after OSU stoned Oklahoma State in the Alamo Bowl.

Big big difference between coaching a position and leading an entire program.

Peake would rather see his team suffer and settle for a lesser coach, than see them hire a person he
spent so much time bashing while affiliated with Marshall.

i just don't get this, mark snyder is a family friend of mine, a great person. and i cannot understand these comments. he has given so much, and proudly sports a national championship ring from ohio state. rich rod, was not the answer at michigan. thats where the blame should lie. not on a very good solid citizen, christian, and coach.------------ nuff said.

I have heard no such talk (Smith) and Holtz was hired just like I was told he would be.

Tigerbait,

This is not tiddlywinks, this is college sports---millions of dollars we are talking about.

I could careless if Snyder is your unlce, if you do not win and your team has no identity then you get canned. I could really careless if Snyder was the Pope, being all of those things you stated means 0 when you do not win. The problem is that you are wearing your heart on your sleeve. If it offends you then do not read these posts.

As far as the Michigan comments go, I surely was not frustrated in the 90's when we were kicking your tails, winning a National Title and producing Heisman winners. Rich may not be the answer, and I have no problem with that, but I do not want Snyder on my staff. I witnessed him coaching first hand for several years up close, that is what I drawl my conclussion upon. He may have coached whatever at OSU, but I do not care one bit about that.
