Danny Alvarez (Bronx, NY) had two hits and one RBI.
Catcher Charlie Glennon (New Rochelle, N.Y.) had one RBI.
Eric Colaco (Richfield, Oh) also drove in a run.
In all the Big Red had just five hits, compared to six for Transylvania.
Taylor Perrett (Kalamazoo, Mich.) 2-1 got the win going five innings.
For Transylvania University
Connor Arnold (Lexington, KY) went seven innings and he took the loss. He drops to 2-2 on the year.
Walter Munday (Louisville) had the only RBI in the loss.
