What a game the Big Ten Championship turned out to be. Michigan State was able to outlast Purdue. UConn and Memphis are still playing, but it looks like UConn has it wrapped up.

UConn was able to pull away from Memphis in the last 8 minutes or so of the American Championship to earn the final auto bid. Now we watch the selection show to see who earns at-large bids and who falls where!

Agreed about the East! A few notes from tonight.

Michigan should not be an NCAA Tourny team, at all.
Syracuse is a well below average team, they have no business being there.
Completely surprised Monmouth didn't get a bid.

I can't remember when I followed college BB so little. One and done stuff just doesn't interest me.

Two First Four games last night, and two blowouts. In the first game, to earn the #16 seed in the East Region, Florida Gulf Coast dismantled Fairleigh Dickinson, 96-65 (largest margin of victory in First 4 history). They will next play the #1 seed in the East, North Carolina on Thursday.

The second game in Dayton pitted Wichita State vs Vanderbilt. It was a close game going into the locker room at half, but Wichita State came out in the second half and took command and won, 70-50. This earned Wichita State the #11 seed in the South Region, and they will face #6 Arizona on Thursday.

The last two First Four game are tonight. The first will be for the #16 seed in the West Region. The game will be Holy Cross vs Southern.

The second game is for the #11 seed in the East Region, Tulsa vs Michigan.

Vanderbilt went 4-7 away from home and got in. Monmouth went 18-6 away from home and didn't get in.

But, let's keep putting in Power 5 scrubs instead of mid majors who will give you great effort.
