What do you want to see in this yawn-fest?

This week would have been Vandy, which still would have been a yawn-fest, but they backed out.

Braxton knock off rust before Wisconsin.
Same for Hyde.

Hall get 150+ rushing again.

Defense play well while up by 2 scores or less...don't blink!

Everyone healthy at end of game.

I say rest Miller, let him get all the rest he can get before that pounding he will take in the BIG,plus Guiton deserves some more playing time after filling in so well.Might want to try some things with the defense, they have been mediocre so far and need to improve that 46 ranking in total defense.

Kenny is a great backup, but if Braxton is ready to go he's the starter, period.

Nothing Guiton has done has earned time over a healthy Braxton Miller.

This is in no way a knock on Kenny, he'll go down a Buckeye legend.
Urban was ready to send him home, and kick him off the team, then he bought in and is the best backup in college football.

Bucks by a ton. Let Miller play to knock off the rust then bring in Smooth Jazz in the 3rd also let Bell and Mitchell and some of the other Deuce cats some PT

What if they put in packages where both QBs are on the field? Or switch up and alternate occasionally. Seems I remember Urban beating a favored OSU in the BCS Championship a few years ago with a pocket passer and an athletic QB.

Guiton stepped up big the past couple games but a healthy Braxton Miller is the starting QB for multiple reasons. It is good to know that they have another leader on the sidelines that can step in without the offense missing a beat. Braxton and Hyde need a lot of reps in todays game before entering conference play next week. Hopefully Roby will be more impressive this week after playing (poorly) last week.

And this is why no one thinks Ohio State can compete with SEC teams...scheduling teams like FAMU

Throwing the ball in a no-huddle up 48 is ridiculous.

At least FAMU got a good paycheck. The too easy of game might hurt the Bucks against Wisky.

Oregon does it every week. Watched then throw a TD pass late 4th quarter against Nichols St up 56.

Ohio state didn't throw 1 time second. Ran the ball the entire half with freshman and sophomore backs (4th string and beyond). I'm not a fan of seeing these games and not a fan of seeing a team being embarrassed. But at the same sense you have play hard every play. OSU pounds them and gets criticized for running up the score. If they hadn't poured it on them they would have been criticized for not beating badly as they should. Damned if you do damned if you don't lol.

Louisville did the same thing. Oregon would have as well

It isn't running up the score when you are letting back up get game time. If the other team can't stop 2nd and 3rd stringers...you just can't have them take a knee three times and punt. Also remember OSU was playing a back up QB and their leading rusher wasn't 1st string.

Urban said in his post game that he's not a fan of running up the score and embarrassing anybody. They needing to get some game reps and players needed some catches to prepare for the weeks to come. Besides what are you suppose to do, tell these guys that are fighting for spots and sitting on the sideline to not play hard?

Louisville wins 72-0, Baylor wins 70-7, Miami is up 77-7 after 3 periods of play, give it a rest on running up the score complaint.

check the sec schedules. next to last week, right before their rivalry games , and you'll find the same opponents.rememner this was supp. to be an sec opp. Vanderbilt, but vandy backed out.the reason it does not get mentioned more is because it's late in the seasomn, and you hear about their entire body of work, see what you think after Wisconsin game.

If I'm not mistaken FAMU was already scheduled and San Diego state was the Vanderbilt replacement when they backed out. It's a bad choice regardless but is what it is. It's over, it was taken care and on to Wisconsin.

But yes many Sec schools and other big programs schedule the same type of opponents
