The Buckeyes earned another fairly easy win in the conference tournament tonight, 3-1 over McKendree in the MIVA Semifinals. They host the MIVA Championship game on Saturday against a TBD team.

In the conference final match of the MIVA, the Buckeyes were able to clinch the conference tournament title by defeating 12th ranked Lewis, 3-2. This has locked them a spot in the NCAA Tournament, which begins next Saturday.

The matchups were selected in the NCAA Selection Show today, and the Buckeyes learned who they would be playing in the 1st Rd. They will be playing George Mason. If they win they will play UCLA in the Final 4. Their game is next Tuesday.

Congrats to Buckeye Sophomore OH Nicolas Szerszen (France) on winning the NCAA Player of the Year. He is the first National POY in the Buckeye history in men's volleyball.

In a thrilling and exciting NCAA Semifinal match against #3 UCLA, the Buckeyes avenged their earlier regular season loss to the Bruins. This was a 5 set thriller, 22-25, 25-22, 25-21, 20-25, 18-16. This win vaults the Buckeyes into the NCAA Championship match!

The #2 Buckeyes will play against #1 BYU on Saturday night. This will be the first time in this NCAA Tournament the Buckeyes will be playing someone they had not played in the regular season.

National Champs!! The Buckeyes dominated #1 BYU tonight, 3-0, to claim the NCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship. They finished the season on a 23 match winning streak.
