Go Bucks
Amen, but concerned about the QB situation next year.
If Haskins comes back oh man. If he doesn then Fields is coming - count it.

(A little history of a coach who won a lot when there were only 4 bowl games that mattered and he didn't do it for the money, ever. Relevant to this day).

For two and a half quarters State's offense was efficient with a solid running game and crisp short passing. Their D covered and kept plays in front of them with few penalties. OSU looked playoff worthy but the flaws shown in the prior games resurfaced. Washington deserves credit in that they did not give up. That and Peterson out coached the Buckeye staff in the second half.

A 13 win season and a Rose Bowl championship are great accomplishments, and the fans saw moments of the Bucks playing to their full potential, but State just never found the mental focus all season to be a true national championship contender.
very good points omega. we looked like world beaters the 1st half. haskins was off on his passes in the beginning. but he has to be somewhat distracted. and the recievers were flat dropping to many catchable balls. weber was running like the tasmanian devil. and then we played aggressive and hard and looked great for 3 quarters. and then we sleepwalked through the last 1.5 quarters. and like omega said we showed the lack of focus and killer instinct to close things out. but hey we are 13-1, rose bowl champs, big ten east, and big ten champs and one of the top 3/4 teams in the country and have an aggressive coach coming in. it's still a great day to be a buckeye. and urban has been amazing for ohio state. we wish you nothing but luck moving forward.

This game was a good game to finally say good bye to Isaiah Prince and his multiple unforced mistakes every game. The two new linemen played well. Giving OSU a good running game. Which they could not get going during some games this season. Hopefully next year they will put more into running the ball. OSU got the led to hang on at the end. Could have been different against a QB with a better arm. The defensive line rotation played well. With many of the young players showing that next year will be good.

Urban coached without the stress on his face as he had most of the season. Time to move on.

Listened to Coach Day on Golic and Wingo this morning. He broke down what teams were doing against us in detail. Smart mind. Can he recruit?

Hopefully Coach Day didn't let Schiano on the plane back to Ohio. Also, unless Borland is able to add a lot of speed this offseason, his playing time at OSU should be relegated to mop up time. You can't have a LB that terribly slow at this level.
