The Buckeyes earned a much needed series win today over Rutgers, by winning the final game 2-1. They host Cincinnati in a non-conference mid week game on Tuesday.

In a mid week non-conference contest at home tonight, the Buckeyes dominated an in state rival in Cincinnati, 9-0. They next play on Friday at Illinois to start a 3 game weekend series.

In a 15 inning pitcher's dual last night, the Buckeyes dropped their first game of the season at Illinois, 1-0.

OSU couldn't close out a series win today at Illinois, losing their third game 5-3. They don't play again until a 3 game weekend series at Purdue beginning on Friday.

Instead of playing a Fri, Sat, Sun series at Purdue this weekend, the Buckeyes played a double header yesterday and will play the 3rd game tomorrow morning.

With that being said, the Buckeyes swept Purdue on the road in their double header last night, 3-1 and 3-2. They play the final game tomorrow.
