Last night's NCAA Championship in wrestling was a crazy one in MSG in NYC. Penn State clinched the national championship to clinch their 5th Championship in the last 6 years. And, the Big Ten's 10th straight season winning the national championship.

In dramatic finish, Columbia earned their 2nd straight national championship in fencing. They had a solid lead after day 3 of 4 of the competition, and ended up only winning by 7 total points over runner-up Ohio State, 174-167.

In a surprising outcome, Minnesota earned their 2nd consecutive national championship in women's ice hockey. The win for the Gophers ended #1 Boston College's bid for a perfect season, by defeating them 3-1.

WHAT A GAME!!!! I thought Villanova had it wrapped up for awhile, but then UNC came back, to make this is a nail biter. That shot Marcus Paige hits with 4 seconds left is unreal, probably a lot more luck than skill, but still unreal! Then the kid from Nova trails the play then gets a 3 pointer at the buzzer that he nails!! You couldn't have wrote up a better story line for this game in your head. Then Nova's coach at the end doesn't even crack a smile haha.

Not much of a surprise in the final result of tonight's women's national championship game, UConn wins! They defeated Syracuse 82-51. With this win, they have won their 4th consecutive national championship, becoming the first women's program to ever do so. They finish the season at 38-0.

In another national championship title game tonight in men's ice hockey, North Dakota completely dominated Quinnipiac, 5-1. This is their first title since 2000 and their 8th overall title.

It was a crazy day for NCAA Championships today with the final 3 Championships being earned for the Winter.

For the second straight year, the NCAA Bowling Championships rematched Nebraska vs Stephen F. Austin in the championship round. Although a repeat performance did not happen for the Cornhuskers. The Lumberjacks of SFA were able to hold off Nebraska in a full 7 game set to earn the school's first ever national championship.

The Oklahoma Sooners were able to defend their national championship in men's gymnastics this afternoon. This clinched their 10th championship in school history. Stanford finished as runner-up and the Buckeyes of Ohio State finished with a third place finish.

The Lady Sooners of Oklahoma won the women's gymnastics national championship for just the 2nd time ever, the other coming in 2014. The #1 seeded Sooners defeated runner-up and national powerhouse LSU.
