A little history was made today and I got to see it. Dixie State (3-0), a first-year division one program posted their first-ever D1 road win in school history when they defeated Denver (1-3). Blazing the trail for the winners was, Cameron Gooden (Frisco, TX) with 23 points, 3 boards, and 3 assists. Hunter Schofield (Spanish Fork, UT) came off the bench to drop in 14 points. For Denver, the turnover bug bit them again in this loss 21 total. Leading the way in the loss was Jase Townsend (Dallas, Tx) with 21 points, 9 boards, and 4 assists. The winners hit 42.4% of their shots, while the losers hit 46.9%.
