Early on this was a very good game but after the dust settled and the smoke had clear, it was the Seminoles who stayed unbeaten at (3-). The Gators tasted defeat for the first time this season (3-1). Florida State hit 8-16 (50%) from the three-point line, while the Gators hit 10-23 (43.5%). Scottie Barnes (West Palm Beach, FL) and M.J. Walker (Riverdale, GA) led the winners with 17 points each. For the young Gators, Scottie Lewis (Hazlet, NJ) led the way with a game-high 19 points.
