As I expected this one would end up a close good game. The Buckeyes (2-0) could never put away UMass Lowell (1-2) and this made for a good game. Ohio State who trailed at times in the 2nd half was able to eventually do enough to overcome ice-cold shooting from the three-point line (22.2%) and post the ten-point win. Duane Washington Jr. (Grand Rapids, Mi) had 21 points to go with 3 boards. He was only 3-11 from three. Justice Sueing (Honolulu, HI) added 15 points and 6 rebounds. Obadiah Noel (Frederick, MD) was ice cold from the field 5-21 but still led UMass with 15 points, 7 boards, and 5 assists.
