Do you feel the same way about Nebraska? Didn't they force Solich out? How about Ohio State? Does the name Earl Bruce ring a bell?

Don't forget Florida State, they forced out a legend who spent almost half his life as their coach lol

Bill Stewart seems like a great individual and passionate about wvu football. But as we all know it's a business decision and it's all about winning. Stewart will have still have a home in Morgantown and be involved with the university. It's hard to fault Luck in wanting the best at his univeristy and making the attempt to get there

Luck said as much. He refered to boosters who give seven figures. I'd say that is about the money. This is also the same university who has had a couple questionable hires in the past, Catlett and Huggins. It's also about winning at any cost.

8-3 Earl
9-3 Bill

If it works out the same for WVU as it did for OSU Pitt will be very happy. The change was made for the same reason as Earl Bruce was replaced in the 80's.

Isn't this the same offensive coordinator that was at Houston when Marshall beat them?

Not sure mtswngrvsg. I did find this bio page from his second season at Houston.
Let's hope he has more success against Pitt than Cooper had against Michigan.

No, just looked at the years he was at Houston.

For WVU Fans I hope this works out. Have talked with people that have been around Bill Stewart and everyone of them have good things to say about him. Have been told that he is truly a nice guy going back to his high school coaching days at Sissonville.

WVU and Rich Rod deserve each other. Bill Stewart if I was you my next contract sure as hell wouldn't be made on a hand shake.
