6 LSU at 10 Texas

Post by OHHS old timer »

7 PM kickoff time

Jeaux Burreaux brings the Bayou Bengals to Austin. Big question for LSU...can they run the ball effectively?

What say you....

Good lineage for Joe: His brothers played for Nebraska and Dad played in the NFL and CFL before coaching for 40 years, his uncle played football at Ole Miss, his grandpa played basketball at Mississippi State and to top it all off his grandma set a Mississippi high school basketball scoring record in the 1940's by scoring 82 points in a game. Gotta go with LSU in this one as he's been slowly reaching his potential since his transfer and he's just a winner. LSU by 10.

You know it is not inconceivable that if Joe has an outstanding performance that all of a sudden he may be on some Heisman watch lists...wouldn't that be something now.

This game should be a dandy. If the Texas QB gets hot, they win. If not, LSU sneaks out a win in a close game.

I think this will be a relatively low scoring game. Like 17-14

At 353 left in game no matter the outcome burrow has put his stamp on that heisman watch list.

Don't know about best in the country but improvement does come with game reps and he was never going to get that chance @ OSU. LSU knew what they were getting and he didn't come with any baggage. He just wanted and needed someone at a big school program that believed in his ability and would give him a chance. I would love to see them play OSU this year and if the cards fall right it might happen. ...... and It's for sure floating around in the back of his mind. Who wouldn't relish the thought of playing against a team in any sport who thought you weren't good enough to play ?

who won, ole bait fell asleep right towards the end. burrows is as talented as any qb in the country. and he throws beautiful touch passes and throws vertically downfield just as well. he's a live wire. and a sparkplug firing just right. coach o has said he makes the team go.

For sure. I saw the three faces of the front runners for the covenant trophy. Jalen Hurts, Jonathan Taylor , TUa , I believe LSU keeps doing what they did last night he will least get invited. Beat Bama , win the SEC, qualify for CFP. We may see the kid win it. He makes things happen when they need to happen. But what am I telling you ?? You know football When I read that post the first time the second time reading the thread I thought man this is soooooo true. He’s in the right conference to get the exposure. Is he a born and raised Athens kid or did he move in with his dad to coach at OU?
