Moral of the story....don't go on road and get trounced by a second tier team. You can't cling out of that hole

Other thing is there is a bias against OSU. They will have to be perfect AND dominant to get in. The B1G Championship will not be enough.

True that.

Yet I am not disappointed with 12-1. Big championship, and a NY6 bowl. I for one thought State would collapse after the Purdue loss.

They tried to a time or two..But the talent Gap and Talent disparity is Just too WIDE....Even though Maryland Did miss a layup to win the game and Nebraska of course could have/Should have won...Sparty is VERY limited offensively. UM was a fraud...And NW battled just as hard as they could and did ALL they could......ohio ALWAYS has the EASIEST path EVERY year because of the Conference they play in and wide disparity in Talent between them and EVERYONE they play...Sans a SOONER....And of course these committees recognize this too, minus that big FATASS Jury Foreman Barry Alvarez....PSU has NOT arrived..Better..But cant finish the deal in games...Spart is 19-17 the last 3 years...UM is an 8-5 team on average the last 20 yrs,and have a Brilliant Coach who refuses to load up and feed a simplistic College Offense....SLUGPUG...What will help this league is Purdue and Nebraska are about to supplant those old stale programs in that pathetic west side of Hawk and Bucky...That will darn SURE HELP!!!.......The conference NEEDS to wake up and has in some aspects,in that QB play was MUCH better this year than USUAL....And that is a step forward....

Georgia left it up to others do figure out. Much like in the NFL when almost everyone knows what a call should be. But after further review the call goes the other way. Georgia had a 14 point led then could not hang on. As the let up again like last year The fake punt call I think had a lot to do with them not being included. Fourth and 11 they run the fake punt which should have been called off. When Alabama left their defense on the field. Then after the game Smart was we tried to make a play. Then the snap was slow was the reason for the loss. Really come on coach.

They keep bringing up OSU big loss to Purdue but Georgia lost by 20 to LSU. As the saying ,"You play to win the GAME." Not to come close. If that loss to LSU had by 7 points or less Georgia gets in.
