Hale finishes season on a low note
Former Alexander pitcher Jake Hale surrendered eight runs on eleven hits in four innings as Ohio State fell to Indiana 10-8 in the Big Ten Tournament. Hale finishes his junior year with a 4.50 ERA and a record of 5-3.

Re: Hale finishes season on a low note
Actually Hale didnt get the loss. He gave up 8 runs and 6 were unearned. Jake has been hurt by errors for the most part all season. I think he is looking good going into the baseball draft this year. He was a Second Team All Big Ten and showed he could dominate when given the support in the field. He's got great stuff and I think it would be a good time to go start working with the minor league coaches. I would love to see him get his degree but hopefully if he does get drafter in the Top 12 rounds they will pay for him to go back to school if everything else fails. Good luck Jake with whatever you decide to do.

Did Hale get drafted this year? I couldn't keep track. I hope he did.
