Joe Mbang scored 21 points and had eight rebounds while Jimmy Baron finished with 20 points as Rhode Island beat Dayton 82-70 on Saturday.

Dayton (15-5, 3-4), which lost for the fourth time in five games, shot 2-of-13 from 3-point range.

The Rams now stand Rams (19-3, 5-2 Atlantic 10).
