Myrtle Beach (11-17) got a much-needed win last night, over Augusta (13-15) by a 4-2 score. In the bottom of the first Alfonsin Rosario hits a ground-rule double (3) on a fly ball to right-center field. Christopher Paciolla scores giving the Pelicans the 1-0 lead. Cristian Hernandez scores on a wild pitch making it 2-0 still in the first. The Green Jackets cut the lead to 2-1 when Jacob Godman singled on a ground ball to right fielder Alfonsin Rosario. Robert Gonzalez scores. This became a 2-2 game in the sixth when Kade Kern singles on a line drive to center fielder Jacob Wetzel. Luis Sanchez scored. In the bottom of the sixth, the Pelicans retook the lead when Miguel Pabon scored on an error. Fabian Pertuz scored in the eighth the game's last run to give us the 4-2 final.
