Post by LICKING COUNTY FAN »

I have started this to post on games that we all watch. Be nice if we got some activity on this board other than Reds talk.

Do you purchase MLB TV or MILB TV to watch these games? The MILB would be neat to see the up and coming guys through the ranks

I tried to purchase MILB but no games showed up on my screen.
I called MILB twice and both times I was told my purchase was only for audio. I told them according to the ad on their site both of my purchases were for Video, audio is always free. Neither of the people I talked to could speak English very well and neither could tell me what I needed to purchase.
I have never had a problem making the purchase before.
Here is what I purchased.
At Bat yearly package: $29.99
Stream EVERY participating Minor League team's home games LIVE or on-demand, watch your favorite MLB team's affiliates on MLB.TV and listen to EVERY out-of-market MLB game LIVE or on-demand.

Josh Bell is looking lost on both sides of the ball this year it seems like. He's batting a horrendous 5/46 (.109 Ave) with 4 RBI. I'm sure the Guardians would love for him to figure it out any time now

Here's some of my early season thoughts on the MLB so far this year..

Most surprising teams records:
Obviously you have to shoutout the Tampa Bay Rays on a crazy 13-0 start with really no signs of slowing down with a +71 (!!) run differential! The next closest team is at +25.
Pittsburgh Pirates starting off at 8-5 and playing solid as well. Some young guys who are just wanting to play ball and veterans in Cutch and Santana to help shape them up.
Seattle Mariners and St Louis Cardinals both starting 5-8 surprises me. I fully believe these teams will be contenders as the season goes on but it seems like early on they aren't playing with much passion. Same with the Phillies at 4-9.. didn't expect that at all!

Most fun teams to watch:
Baltimore Orioles: Their record starting off is 7-6 but their offense is so fun to watch. They have some guys who can flat out swing it - Rutschman with 4 HR on the year and Ryan Mountcastle leading the way with an AL lead of 6 HR and 19 RBI.
Atlanta Braves: In my opinion, they have the most stacked lineup from top to bottom in all of MLB. Their first 5-6 batters are lethal and can take you deep or steal on you at any given moment.

Most fun players to watch so far:
My biased opinion will say Jonathan India, Nick Lodolo and Spencer Steer. Steer is our set in stone 3rd baseball and his playing extremely well to begin - possible top name for NL ROY. India is flat out being a leader - he's the guy I want on my team everyday of the week. Lodolo on the mound has been lights out so far this year, tied for 1st in the league with 27 K and a 2.12 ERA
Ji Hwan Bae for Pittsburgh: Young, multi position guy for them who makes tons of hustle plays in the field and has a couple homers to begin the year. Nothing special to him but his passion seems up there with anyone else.
Matt Chapman for the Blue Jays: He is hitting the absolute cover off the ball batting .489 with 3 HR, 15 RBI and tied for 1st in doubles with 8. Blue Jays are a dangerous team and have all the means to win a World Series

Sorry for the lengthy post. It's been a fun season so far and I'm looking forward to the rest of it!
