The Clippers built a 4-1 lead and then hung on to win 4-3. Oscar Gonzalez had two hits in this one. His fourth bomb of the season and a double his third. He also drove in two runs. Gavin Collins drove in the third Clippers run with one hit. Nick Mikolajchak came out of the bullpen to throw 1.2 innings of hitless relief to pick up the win (1-0).

For the Indians Oneil Cruz, Mason Martin, and Michael Perez each drove in a run. Max Kranick (0-1) took the loss.
