Royals take game one 3-1.
Nicky Lopez, Andrew Benintendi, and Bobby Witt Jr each had a hit and 1 RBI, with Witt getting the game winner.
Overall the Royals had 5 hits with Whit Merrifield and Hunter Dozier providing the other two hits.

For Cleveland José Ramírez had their only RBI.
Overall Cleveland had 7 hits, with Myles Straw collecting two of them.

The Cleveland office stunk in game one but not nearly as bad as game two.
Today they drop a 1-0 ten inning game to the Royals.
The lone bright spot for Cleveland was Steven Kwan. He had two of the five total hits the team managed in this one.

Cleveland exploded today with 22 hits and 17 runs while holding the Royals to 3 runs and 7 hits.
Oscar Mercado blasted his first homer of the season. In all, he totaled 2 hits and 5 RBI.
José Ramírez also blasted his first bomb off the season. He would end his day with 3 hits and 3 RBI.
Owen Miller had 3 hits and 4 RBI.
Amed Rosario had 4 hits and 3 RBI.
Franmil Reyes had 2 hits and 1 RBI.
Ernie Clement also with 2 hits and 1 RBI.
Red hot Steven Kwan had 5 hits as he stays really hot (.800 Batting Average)

For the Royals
Bobby Witt Jr. drove in two runs while collecting a hit.
Ryan O'Hearn drove in the other Royals run.
Hunter Dozier and Michael A. Taylor each had two hits.

Cal Quantrill (1-0) went 5 innings. He gave up 4 hits and two earned runs.
Kris Bubic (0-1) lasted just 2/3 of an inning giving up 5 earned runs.
