No way they sign Kaepernick, I doubt they sign another qb.

Even if Watson is suspended the whole year? I would surely hope they wouldn't, but it is the Browns, so anything is possible.

Browns looked good last night without Watson...Also saw where Mayfield looked good in his only turn with the ball.

Baker wasn’t cutting it and Watson is definitely not a solution, even if he wasn’t facing legal issues. Be lucky to be 2-28 against the bungles next 15 years. We Need a QB with NFL headspace. Hope I am wrong but I suspect baker to be playing long after Watson “retires”. Again, not even considering the legal issues. With enough practice most people can throw a football accurately, but very few have the head for being a QB. Given the importance of offense in todays game, it amazes me the lack of quality in the NFL qb position.

As I have stated before, I thought the Watson signing was a mistake. But as a Browns fan, I have to accept what has happened and continue to support this team no matter what. It has been a long 35 years since Cleveland had a good team, I will not jump off the wagon because of this.
Brissett has been a capable backup in the NFL, and there is no reason to think this year will be any different. If Browns can win 7 of the 11 games that Watson is suspended, they should still be in the hunt come December.

Maybe having a backup QB can unite the team in playing team football. If they win most of their games changing QB's can effect chemistry. Will have to see how this plays out. The talent is there just how they play together.

Browns still play to lose the game. Now will when the players start running their mouths.

Just when I thought I saw all the Browniest things I could ever see, they manage to come up with another one. Just unbelievable! How do you go from kicking a last-second 58-yard field goal to missing an extra point? I thought well it won't matter anyway and then the Browns worked their magic.

I don't understand how the fans can blame the kicker or Nick Chubb for this loss. Kickers miss extra points, and if not for Chubb, the Browns would not have been in a position to win the game. The blame lays squarely on Defensive Coach Joe Woods shoulders. Browns have two good cover corners, yet play soft zone defense against Joe Flacco and Baker Mayfield? For the last 35 years I have watched the "prevent" defense do nothing but prevent teams from winning. Heck Browns even failed at soft zone by letting receivers get behind them. Also, an onside kick in the NFL? C'mon man!

Cmon grad, kickers at this level should not miss extra points unless it's a bad snap, bad weather, blocked, or something the holder did wrong. I didn't see any of that. He might be a good kicker but he put a lot of pressure on himself to not do that again or miss field goals. Fans will start barking. Maybe it was a one-time fluke we can only hope. The defensive lapse is what really blew my mind. I thought am I really seeing that guy that far behind the defensive backs with that much time left? It was a bad miscommunication the defensive back thought he had help over the top but the safety dropped down to cover another receiver. It was a devastating loss that I hope the Browns can recover from before it's too late. On a positive note, Brissett surprised me with a pretty good game until that last play. I don't see where anyone is blaming Chubb. This team would be for sure in the cellar without him and Hunt.

Neither should defensive backs not have their head in the game. The fact is you cannot blame an offense that left the field with a 13 point lead, then didn't touch the ball again until 22 seconds remaining for this loss. Secondary, plain and simple.

That was a pretty solid win last night. The Browns defense made enough adjustment in the second half to shut down Pittsburg's offense, and Brissett had a great game to balance out Hunt and Chubb.
