Wealthy men with huge egos. Wealthy men who want to compensate by hanging out with jocks. Wealthy men in need of tax write offs.

The only upside is some marginal players will get a temporary paycheck and maybe earn another shot at the NFL.

I love football, but there is a thing as too much football.

It will be short lived again, even without baseball!

I think it has a chance but they do need to sign a few older players who can still play but are too expensive for an NFL roster. The first version did this with guys like Brian Sipe. It gave them name recognition straight out of the gate and much needed leadership for young players trying to figure things out. I am also surprised no NAIA players are out there. There are always a few athletes that are there that find there way onto an NFL roster. I am certain the USFL could use a few.

The BEST thing about people from Wellston is that they have JACKSON on their license plates!
