TAMPA, Fla. -- It took 32 seasons and 1,865 tries, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have finally scored on a kickoff return.

Micheal Spurlock returned a first-quarter kick 90 yards for a TD for a 14-3 lead against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. He fielded the kick from Morten Andersen at his 10, burst through a huge opening in the middle of the field and cut up the right sideline to the end zone untouched.

A total of 141 players have returned kickoffs since Tampa Bay's inaugural season in 1976.

i'd still rather have Garcia taking snaps in the playoffs, experience is something no amount of coaching can get you.

Garcia looked a little rusty against Atlanta after his injury, but if he returns to form the Buc's could be tough in the playoffs. They've had a few nice games on offense outgaining Ari. 408-195, Jacksonville 403-223, Detroit 440-244 and NO 485-263. I don't think there's any NFC team that really stands out right now.
