Not sure about the hot seat. Depends on how much upper management was involved with putting up with Brown and his attitudes over the years. If Rudolph plays well gives a glimpse of the future. Tomlin now gets to show how he can coach with less star players on offense.

Did the Steelers set a record for most wildcat sets? They will be roasted by both the Browns and Ravens. Time to rebuild.

It doesn’t have to be pretty just effective.a win is a win.

Just curious, how do Steelers fans feel about Big Ben? Not what he has done but going forward. How many more years does he have given his recent injury? Can he make a decent return? And if he does, where does Rudolph fit in? Confidence factor? I sense major changes coming to the confluence.

from what I hear he is going to honor his current contract which has two years remaining.i fully expect him to be back next season.as for Rudolph,he’ll get the job once Ben is done.unless they would happen to find someone else at that time.as for major changes,I don’t see it.thats not the Steelers way.

Ben may want to honor his contract or better yet collect his paychecks for 2 years. This surgery at his age does not mean he will be able to throw the ball like he did before. As well as to be close to Mason Rudolphll. If he comes back will people want to judge him on his past not his present. Much like the with Eli Manning.

Ben likes to be in control. Which maybe why he is helping out much like a coach. He maybe helping out like Shazier. Which can be good as team mates helping the team. Will see how this goes when it is time for him to play again.

Tomlin may go to Washinton ? Cowher coming home ?

Doesn't mean it will not happen but this is what Cowher said .

“The reason I stepped down, I just didn’t like the lifestyle, I wanted more normalcy,’’ Cowher told The Athletic. “With the family dynamic we had at the time, my wife wasn’t in a great place and I owed it to her. And as I got out of it, it was like, ‘Wow! I probably needed to get pushed out a little bit.’”

Why would Cowher want back in that grinder? Then again, I didn't see Jon Gruden giving up his cushy job to coach the Raiders. But, i still can't see Cowher coming back.

If Tomlin does leave (big if), how about central casting putting Jack del Rio there?

Steelers should bring in former assistant Mike Munchak.
Cowher probably enjoys his free time and being a dad. Getting paid well without the daily stress.

Fights at practice Weds. This could really blow up as the Steelers loses more games.
