What I want to see him do is keep his nose clean, work hard and in the 2nd half of the year deflect pressure from OBJ and the rest of the offense so they can beat the damm Squeelers.

I’m gonna assume we will see him some pre-season?

One of my favorite times of the year. After all the hype and hope, we get to (somewhat) look at the roster in action. Won't see too much of the starters in preseason but that's good. We know what we have. I like it that a lot of press is dissing the Browns. Keep their heads in the game. And best of all, Jimmy Truckstop finally got religion and turned the keys over to a football guy.

Callaway out for a spell ????

I can’t believe there hasn’t been more talk on here about our first preseason game.

For what the starters played. We looked good. I understand the redskins aren’t where they wana be but when that matchup happens the results should be what saw regardless first , second, third groups. Definitely a sign of good things to come to me.

HERE WEEE GOOOOO BROWNIEEES......HERE WE GO.....

They say it's a high ankle sprain which is not good! Surprised they traded Johnson. Thought they would keep him until at least Hunt came back. First string offense looked pretty good in their limited time picking up where they left off last year. Mack Wilson was all over the field. He is a keeper!

I thought Hilliard showed good progress as a replacement for Duke. Yea he fumbled on goal line but he is more than capable of filling in until we get Hunt. Keep in mind Hunt is only a one year player. If he comes in and lights it up he'll be looking for big bucks.

Not bankin on Hunt long term. Regardless if he puts out or not. I just don’t have faith in him. Hope I’m wrong.

Getting rid of Johnson takes away from players and Johnson having to answer questions about the trade. As well as the deal was very good in return to the Browns for a third team RB.
Browns may want to go get Redskins left tackle Trent Williams who is holding out. Says he will not play for the Redskins again. That would improve the line play as well as make Mayfields job easier and less stressful. Much like when the Rams added former Bengal Whitworth. Goff improved so much in his second year.

I'd hold off on the William's trade. Washington would probably want a first round pick and Mayfield's first born in return. If his holdout gets too uncomfortable he might be had for a lower pick later.

The Redskins brought Donald Penn to take Williams tackle position. The way they run the team from management has ticked Williams off. As well as the health care the team provided. They seem to be wanting to show they control Williams. They said they will not trade him but hard to trust anything they say. With the amount of picks the Browns have it would be something to check on.

I always thought he would be a good running back in college. Nobody could cut and accelerate like he would. Now how that would work in the NFL is another story.

My son believes he was signed to be "Lamar Jackson" on the practice squad.
