7 game win streak and won 10 of their last 12, including a 4 game sweep over the Cubs. They are playing much better now.

Which begs the question will the Reds' management unload some of their better performing talent for prospects as the trade deadline approaches? Got to keep the payroll as low as possible you know.

12 games under now. Playing much better, in all phases of the game.
Scooter leads the league in batting average. Suarez tied for first in RBI.

finally lost one.....lets hope this type of play continues....be nice to watch the reds after the all-star break with meaningful baseball to be played

Votto, Gennett and Suarez are all in the top five at their position in all-star voting. But, Scooter is the only one within striking distance of getting a starting position.

The Reds have made several trades over the past week:
7/2 - Traded minor league catcher Joe Hudson to the Angels for cash.
7/4 - Traded RHP Dylan Floro and Zach Neal (minors) and an international signing bonus pool space to the Dodgers for good minor league RHP prospects James Marinan and Anerurys Zabala.

Did you happen to see how big the bonus pool money was? Because the prospects feel like a lot to give up for Neal and Floro, especially since Floro had pretty much been anyone’s to get the last couple of years. Good trade by the Reds.

Floro wasn't much the last couple years, but he's been very good this year. Also, I couldn't find how much that bonus pool money was.
