I agree with that about Bruce and Hamilton. They will both get out of it I believe and they'll be okay. But lets address the biggest problem here: Kevin Gregg and Burke Badenhop. Why does Bryan Price keep bringing them in when the games are close. It's a guarantee at this point that both of them are going to give up a run every single time they come in!

Let me change my statement. At least one run every time they come in. Both have an ERA over 10!

Is batting practice open to the public? If so, what time does it start? We're going to go watch them play the Giants, and the game starts at 1:10.

Its time to seat Bruce down .162 avg, And move Hamilton out of the lead off spot at .205.

I agree with that. I would move Hamilton to #2 and move Cozart to the leadoff. Sit Bruce down for a couple games let him work with the hitting coach during that time instead of playing.

Kevin Gregg has already been released. Gotta do something with Badenhop, he's terrible. Maybe have to trade some minors guys to get some help in the bullpen. The only guy struggling in the starting rotation imo is Jason Marquis.

Great series this weekend! After such a tough stretch they had, they had an off day on Thursday, have a team meeting that day, and then come out and sweep a 3 game series against one of the best and hottest teams in baseball.

The reds have officially found new ways to be terrible. Lose the game on an error on a routine play.

The Reds have some good parts. Todd,Joey for the most part,Mes if he was healthy. Some nice young pitchers like Lorenzen,Disco,Iglesias, and R. Stephenson on the way. They also have some horrible problems. They dont grind out very many wins. Their Pen is horrendous. Chapman is and has been wasted and extremely underutilized. Their bench is laughable. Cozy is doing ok and Billy is playing great D. They cant stay healthy. But of course nobody does. Winners overcome. Phillips makes me sick with his antics. They have to decide when and where they are going to trade Johnny,Leake, and Chapman. These decisions and the haul they get back will make them or break them in a few yrs. Especially hopefully a healthy Cueto and what he could fetch. The real albatross of this team and their main problem in my opinion is the day to day performance of Jay Bruce. They needed him to be a stud but he is not far from playing himself out of baseball. He is such an energy Vampire for this outfit. Struggles so bad. Gets good pitches to hit but fouls them off. The most nervous, jumpy, twitchy guy I have ever seen in the box and it blows my mind that Nobody in this Organization EVER altered his pre-pitch routine and shortened that swing up. Great young man but he coulnt net them a bag of balls right now. Maybe a change of scenery and a different philosophy would help him elsewhere. Hope so for him.
