Lancaster (2-4) at Logan (1-5)

Post by Logangrad »

Long time standing rivals Logan and Lancaster meet again this week, this time in the OCC and a league game. Lancaster and Logan have one common opponent in Pickerington Central. The Tigers beat Lancaster 42-7 and Logan 54-0. Logan played better last week but too many short pass plays turned into long TDs and a punt return TD didnt help. Logan finds a way to win this week at home!

Lancaster 14

Assassination of Franz Ferdinand : WW1 starts

Purple beating the Gales : ???

The Gales are very capable of playing terribly enough to make an upset bid likely. No doubt that if they get into their usual rut of 'finding ways to screw up', they lose. Their 'A' game would be enough to beat Logan comfortably by 3-4 touchdowns. It's just that... there's a big drop-off between A game and what the next level of game is below 'A.'

This is usually a mismatch historically. Gales may be down but Logan is awful. Gales by 21.

When was the last time this game was competitive? 2005 or 2006? Logan had some REALLY good teams then.

The downhill consequences of Nepo ball over on #GranvillePike might be enough to make this old rivalry competitive again.
