Defenseless Receiver

One new rule this season for OHSAA and other NFHS is
The introduction of the defenseless receiver. The penalty
for high school is much different then for the NCAA or
NFL.

Officials were told today that the penaly will be assessed from
the previous spot. It will not be tacked on to the end of a
play. In addition, it does not carry an automatic first down.
