Ironton JR Noah Patterson

Post by ohbuckeye2 »

Congratulations on your visit to WVU, the transformation this young man has made in two years is amazing, you wouldn’t recognize him in the 2 year span. The program is working at Ironton. Great to see all of the young men getting the opportunity to play at the next level and continuing with their education.

Go Fighting Tigers……..

I seen where Noah did 21 Reps of 225 lbs bench presses and ran a 4.9 40 today, he’s going to be a beast next season.

I believe he came from South Point either in JR High or 9th grade, not exactly sure. I know he was definitely at Ironton his Freshman year. He’s about 6’4 270 now. The difference a couple years makes is incredible with Irontons program.

Ive talked to Noah’s father about this, He transferred 8th grade spring break (right before Covid shut school down)from South Point. I’m very happy for this kid and his family! He absolutely pours his heart and soul into becoming the best athlete he can! He is a poster child for what you can do you “buy in” 100%. He should have a monster year his senior season.

Congratulations on your offers Noah many more to come!

Great news... and definitely wish the kid all the best... but until one of these guys pan out...I'll warn buyer beware... the number 1 thing the player an the parents/coaches/advisors should consider is fit.. where does the player an their skillset FIT in a program.. I seem to recall a certain LB being one of the top ranked LB prospects in the nation... a ton of d1 signees looks great on a teams websites an social media and camp flyers.... Be sure the fit is right... is all I'm sayin... don't get thrown to the wolves for another notch on the bigtime recruit list.. keep on the grind an good luck.
