A handful of examples where teams seeded 9~16 won one round. And a few examples where teams seeded 9~16 two rounds. I didn't notice any making it farther than that.
Yes but those bareasss beat downs most of them get is a great experience and the extra week of practice makes any physical and/or mental beatings and injuries well worth it. Just ask some of the people on here if you don’t believe it. SMDH
Is Eastern really 3-1 vs fort Fries?

No. When I first researched it I didn’t realize they played back in the early 80’s and FF won both of those games. But I had my signature on there before I realized that. We’re 3-3 against them all time.

Hurting the feelings of the nadless wonders who are afraid to comment before the games.

Yea because 6-4 is so awful, i realize they’re not your typical playoff team but they aren’t the only ones because of the expansion. Meigs exceeded everybodies expectations for this season. Those boys should be proud for their effort this year, meigs would beat alot of the other teams that made this year just because of the expansion

Ironton made the playoffs in 99' with a 6-3 record and played in a state championship.
I know you didn't just compare a team coached by arguably the best coach in Ohio HSFB history that had probably played against a couple Columbus and Cincinnati teams to this year's Meigs team that didn't even finish second in their conference, iirc.

Yeah maybe! Their common opponent this year was Grandview Heights. Centerville won 28-14 and CA beat GH 42-0. I know the transitive problem doest work in football but it’s still a lil food for thought🙂

Yea I’ve watched them both on YouTube and I have to say CA looks more athletic. It will be interesting.

It would be a good game. Hope Ironton makes it that far this year.

I picked them and Ironton in regional final. I wasn't sure who would pan out in the other regions but I believe Prep can run the table.
Just about spit my coffee out when I read this comment this morning. "All over the world" lol... That must be why their enrollment still rates them as one of the smallest schools in the state - where are all the recruits? Lol. Yet the folks who know nothing about Harvest Prep think they have all these so called recruits. Please....most of the big time kids who fit the college recruiting eye test go to Pick Central or Pick North. #Facts

Not out of the question if the players keep listening to the coaches. We’ve shown the last part of the season how great our coaching is and how good we can be when the players listen and do what the coaches tell them. That’s how we got into the playoffs and if we win it will be the reason.

Bullshit Meigs wins have nothing to do with their head coach, Tennant is a joke. Those boys have just busted their ass to get wins stretching big plays because tennant doesn’t know what he is doing, Faulk (the defensive coordinator) on the other hand has been great here as of recently

Come on man. You of all people should know better. No great teams have had bad coaches. It all starts with the head coach. Great coaching leads to great wins, and that’s what’s happening at Meigs with the first winning season seven years.

No you know your statement is a joke, if he was a good coach he would have been winning the past 5 seasons which he hasn’t he’s a joke
