Jackson 63 - 7 Hillsboro 2022

Post by countywide35 »

The Indians come on up from Highland County this week to take on Jackson in week 2 of FAC Play.

Jackson has only suffered 3 losses in league play since the FAC was created and this team pulled an upset off on the hill to be one of those three losses.

These two teams met in 1996 in the Regional Semifinal Game held @Portsmouth Spartan Stadium. Both teams entered that game at 10-0. there is history starting to develop between these two programs.

Hillsboro will be coming to play.

Ironmen need to respond well. And know that they get
EVERY TEAMS best effort , there will be no easy games, Play Ironmen football. And just like they have since the very first scrimmage: keep gettin a little better every week.

Keep your eyes peeled on the FAC teams these next few weeks. Setting up to be some awfully good football in the closing games of the regular season.

Don't know if that loss was an upset, that Hillsboro team was one yard short of a 10-0 season that year, very good class that went through.

That said, Jackson should be able to name the score, don't see the Indians replicating what Trace did.

The Ironmen shouldn't have any trouble winning this game.

I don’t see Jackson losing but with that being said I would like to see Jackson firing on all cylinders and get a dominant win. That would make me feel a little bit better going into these last few games of the season

You are 💯 correct. The loss to Chillicothe in 2020 was the most head scratching loss in last 5 years.

Most definitely. Jackson went up at a point in the gane that they should’ve never lost it. They did have a Bruisin FB that kept them in the game.

First play TD run by Wolford. Ensuing kickoff, ball knocked loose and ran back for a TD.
