Miami Trace 14 - 51 Western Brown 2022

Post by FACSPORTS »

Thoughts on this matchup? Does Miami Trace have any chance at all? I haven't been able to watch Novak in person this year but he put on quite the show last season in their playoff contest against Jackson, and it sounds like he's having quite the senior campaign. Does MT look to try and keep the ball from Novak? Do they try to score with them? WB has played half of the FAC already this year, blowing out Hillsboro, 55-0; handing WCH their only loss thus far, 54-40; and losing on the road to Jackson, 41-35.

I think the only people who believe MT can win this game are the people within the program. Sometimes that's all a team needs. Tony's Welding and Fabrication Stadium will be packed and loud Friday night as WB tends to travel well and a lot of people want to see Novak play.

I know very little about Miami Trace. I did see the Jackson/WB game. I will be very interested to see how WB reacts after losing to the Ironmen.

Miami Trace isn't a bad team but they're no where near the team Western Brown is, WB takes this one by 3-4 scores.

Western should roll by 21 or more. Rumor is Novak is a little banged up from the Jackson game though. Took a shot to the knee late. I'm sure he will still be ready to roll. Kid is a gamer. 42-21 WB.

Trace will have no answer for Novak, Chisman, and Frye. Trace's pass coverage has been terrible for years! WB's defense isn't great, so I could see MT getting a few scores, but look for the score to be similar to last year; somewhere in the 60-something to 20-something range.
